What exactly is a cremation bench?
A cremation bench is a bench usually made out of solid pieces of granite. The granite for the cremation benches come in many different colors. The benches usually can have placement of four sets of cremains (ashes). The bench for the cremains can have the family name inscribed either into the top or side of the bench. Also a cremation bench can act as a family monument. The amount of land necessary for this type of granite bench is considerably smaller than a large upright granite monument.
