How to design a monument?

There are several things to consider when contemplating placing a monument on a grave plot.

• The first one is it for one an individual or will it be for the family plot.

• Second consideration is whether there is going to be flat individual markers that refer back to the monument.

• Third, what color will the upright monument be made in, e.g. black, gray, forest green.

• Fourth is lettering style, sanded panel-deep cut, sanded panel-raised and polished, raised and or skin sunk? Additionally the type of font will dictate perhaps the way the lettering is carved.

• Fifth, will porcelain photos be added to the front of the monument?

• Sixth, will flower vases be made to match the granite monument.

• Finally what inscription will be placed on the monument and the actual layout of the lettering?
